First off, the gang at Unlucky Lady (basically that's me with the help of Tom Voyeur and the amazing Jervin) would like to wish you Happy Holidays. The site has been going fairly strong in spite of the tube sites and the nasty economy. I would like to thank all the long term members who are the reason for this success and what keeps me motivated to do all the grunt work to keep this site fresh with updates. Speaking of updates, the ones on the server are getting low. You may have noticed that the variety over the last month is getting less and less. You will be happy to know that I am back in the US for a month and been working hard to complete and ship Tom next year's updates. A juicy 200 gb of Unlucky Lady material should be working its way onto the site the next year. I will ship Tom the updates on the 24th. It may take a week before he can start putting stuff on the server because of the holidays. Hence, you may find that if there is a delay due to shipping, etc, the updates may get a little sparser in the near future. Never fear though, paying members that allow me to wine and dine girlfriends half my age in my Third World locale, the new material will be up on the server sooner, rather than later, and we should be starting off 2010 with lots and lots of great, good, and not so good stuff for the site.

Me and Tom are very committed to happy customers, because not only are we generally good guys, we are smart businessmen. Tom's success with tomvoyeur over the last ten years is proof of that. We would rather keep our customers happy and resigning rather than having to go find fresh new groups of people every month. Customer service issues have been extremely rare except for the first couple of weeks when the site was first open last December. If we do have an occasional issue, it is almost always due to a password problem or the member cannot play a video. In the case of a password, this is either because an account has expired (how time files when you are downloading porn) or a customer has forgotten a password. We are happy to help here, though this issue can be resolved through Verotel. In the event you cannot play files, it is almost always due to not having the right codecs installed on your computer. The easiest fix to this is to install the free VLC player found at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ . As for responding to your inquiries, we will always respond to your feedback. Often it is within a couple hours, but if not right away, certainly within one day. If we do not respond to your emails, and you keep sending us emails and getting no replies as has happened a few times. It is because the email you supply us with is not valid, or more likely, the emails are for some reason not making it into your inbox (probably going into spam). Please do not get mad with us if this happens and send me nasty notes! I am doing my best, but cannot contact you if my only way to contact you is not working. I could use your billing information to look up your phone number and give you a call at home, but this is generally not considered proper etiquette for adult website customer service. "Daddy, your adult webmaster wants to speak with you". Please look in your spam folder if you do not receive a business reply within a day, or use a different valid email to contact us.

The around the world saga of the hard drive mentioned below with the next seven months of updates has been completed and I am happy to report the technical side of Unlucky Lady has the hard drive and has been uploading gigs and gigs of fresh material to keep you happy and to hopefully make me happy by you continuing to remain a paid member.

Some of Unlucky Lady's long time members (long being relative as the site is less than six months old) may have noticed that the quality and quantity of updates in May has been a little below what they are used to expecting from the site. Am I getting lazy or running out of good material for the site? Absolutely not. It stems from the fact that I live half way across the world from the server and it is too damn slow to upload the material so I prepare the material 50 to 75 gigabytes at a time and ship it by hard drive to the technical side of the site for upload. Unfortunately, the voyage of the hard drive both ways has had problems so I am running low on fresh updates and having to resort to cleaning up the folders which have generally less quality material remaining. I will make a point of ensuring that the site have almost daily updates until the drive can be uploaded which will be between 2 days and 2 weeks. Once the drive is uploaded, I can get back to posting generally bigger and better updates. Thank you for your patience.

I apologize that Unlucky Lady was not available recently. As you probably already know, very severe weather moved across the United States recently and the ISP where Unlucky Lady is hosted suffered from a direct lightning strike. we worked as quickly as possible to get the damage repaired. A Word On Updates

Everybody seems to be pretty happy with the amount of updates on the site. Just so you know, there are actually more updates occurring than you see on the Recents. If I update an existing entry on the site (say adding two new files to an existing series) this will not show in the Recents. I was torn whether it should or not but as of now it does not so for our longer term members you may want to check back with some of your favorite entries from time to time. Over the next couple weeks you will generally be seeing mostly additions to the Voyeur section. I am finishing up another 50 gigs of material to send to Tom V. via hard drive and he will start uploading it in February. There is some very nice material on it and of course some not so great material but that is what this site is about - consolidating and cataloging.
MOV Issue Resolved

I am very happy to announce on the first day of the new year that the MOV issue has been resolved and all MOVs that had a wmv codec have been converted to other formats. It is possible that there are a couple of MOV files that escaped detection although we had two people go through them and test. If you do find one, please don't pass the problem along to other users but send us a note with the file name. We and your fellow members will be most grateful. Thank you again for your patience on this issue, please feel free to enjoy ALL the movies on the site.
Update On Mov Files

If you haven't read the news entry concerning the Mov files Christmas nightmare from a week ago, please do before reading this. Our members will generally be happy to know that most of the Mov files have been fixed. This includes all the Castings. As a reminder, the remainder of the Castings and some better versions will be uploaded to the server in about a month and a half. There are still quite a few PC incompatible Mov files in the Voyeur section but most of the conversions are done and the listings will be corrected within a few days. The other problem area that will take a bit longer to correct is the Asian section. The older Asian listings and the ones I am using for updates now should be fine. The batch from a week to a few weeks a go were mostly wmvs. So we will be working on that and some have been corrected. They are big files, so rather than download them first and then be disappointed, you may want to stay away from them until I give the green light. I would like to thank Tom V and his staff for all their sleepless nights over the holiday season to help correct this issue. I would also like to thank the members for their patience and support on the Mov issue. Funny, I moved over to Macs to avoid PC issues but they continue to haunt my life from time to time.
I would also like to hear from anyone who has any of the "Ugly Georges", the older "Excuse Me's", or the "Professor Joe's" . Me, Tom, and Jervin wish you a Happy New Year.
MOV Files

Well, just two days after writing that if you are having problems with a video you need to install the proper codec I stand somewhat corrected. We started to get more complaints on the recent MOV files not playing and after retesting on a desktop PC the members were right! I did some research and it seems that because of Microsoft's propriety nature, Recent WMV codecs wrapped in MOVs will not play on a PC. The video software maker admittedly never bothered to inform anyone who uses their software. (Basically a bunch of Mac developers who have a mostly PC audience like Unlucky Lady) The files in question will play on other platforms and other codecs wrapped in MOVs are fine. They will play in either Quicktime or VLC as long as you have the codec but not so with Mr. Gates's baby. What to do? Do not download the recent Asian updates from the last week nor the Castings series at present. We will start converting the files to wmv files, test, then update the listings. We will then inform you when the update is complete. Everyone is a new member to the site so there should be more than enough other stuff to download. The silver lining is that if you were getting frustrated that you couldn't get them to work you should be able to watch them soon. BTW, the rest of the Castings are slated to go up in a couple months. Once the files are converted I will upload another few hundred full Asian movies which are also very popular. The older MOV files should generally not have this problem but we will be going through and fixing any of these that are wrapped around a recent WMV codec. i apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. I am mad at flip4mac and Microsoft about this situation but more so at myself for not testing the videos on more machines before posting.

Me and Tom continue to appreciative the very positive feedback we have received on the new site. We have had very few unhappy customers -2. If you do have a complaint, suggestion or feedback we want to hear it. We are generally very fast with answering your emails! We do need your email address! If you have a question and we don't get back to you because we don't have a valid email please don't write us two days later and say we are not responding to you! 
Almost any negative comment has revolved about not being able to play a video(s). I feel for you but such is the nature of non-original material. Every file has been tested and will play in Quicktime Pro or VLC. If I had problems with playback on my machine, it is mentioned in the description. If you cannot play a file, you are most likely missing the proper codec on your machine. The properties for the video file will tell you what codec you need. I suggest downloading VLC or a codec pack if you are having a hard time playing some files. We could convert them to one format but a fair amount of files then have conversion problems and it slows down the ability to add material to the site quickly. Next year will be the year this site really, really grows in content. A bit of material has been taken down recently out of legal concerns so if you saw something and now it is gone that is why. This is a very tiny amount of the total material on the site I should note. Tom, Jervin and myself wish you a very happy Christmas!

Well almost at the big one week Anniversary and I would like to thank our first members for their positive and constructive feedback. The marketing of the site has not really started yet but we are getting great conversion percentages from the people who are visiting and telling me that they like what the site has to offer and the manner it is offered. I will try to update everyday if possible. From now to next week you can expect material for the Asian and Sexploitation sections to go up. Please shoot me an email if you see any dupes or listing inaccuracies. I may not be able to fix them right away but I will and appreciate the help in pointing them out to me.

Me, Tom V. and Jervin are happy to have this site up. I came up with this idea a few years back because I wanted to move overseas and needed to find a away to support myself. I've always enjoyed the kinds of material the site offers and since they say do what you love here we are. In all honesty I never new how hard it would be to collect and present this material in a coherent manner. Its a pain in the ass just downloading the stuff you want but when you have to clean up files, describe them, make good thumbs, etc it becomes one hell of a project. The listings are not perfect nor will they ever be but I am always working on the accuracy of the material. Still I am proud of the site as I think it is unique and hope you find it so too.
